Lower-Income Folks with Kids - Make sure to claim the EIC!

This tax credit is often overlooked by a lot of people who are lower income and don't think they can get a refund. You probably can!

If you don't know what the Earned Income Credit is, go down to the IRS and find out. If your income is under 36K, they will even complete all your forms for you! And don't forget to claim the Additional Child Credit.

Last, if you live in the city of San Francisco, you can claim the Working Families Credit - for more info, go to www.earnitkeepitsaveit.org or call 1-800-358-8832 for more info.

This will not be enough to make up for the tough times brought about by the cheap-labor republicans, but it can be a lifesaver.

My EIC gave me a refund of $2700 last year and over $4k this year. Take advantage of this!
