I know I should not listen to the "whiny little Nazi", but I turned in a little yesterday in the hopes of hearing a "Freaker" meltdown. Apparently he said something bad about FreeReichPublic.

He was talking about a story (sorry no link) about Bush looking through the rubble of the Democratic Party for a "Zell Miller" type to help push through some of his 2ND term agenda.

My thoughts. Any DEM who comes out and supports this little weasle ought to get his a$$ handed to him by Dean and the DNC. Cut off their effing funding if we have to. I don't understand how the Repukes get away with marching "lock-step" for every stupid idea this mis-administration has, and still are able to peel Dems away.

When you have your back against a wall, you need to stand together and fight.

This is why our first order of business ought to be knocking off every "so-called" moderate Republican there is, and every single one from a "blue" state. Coleman, Santorum, Spectre, Snowe, Chaffe, Collins, etc. I've said it before, but once they voted for Frist for leader, and Delay for Majority Whip, THEY STOPPED REPRESENTING THEIR CONSTITUENTS.

If we fight, we can win. Both Senate seats from OH are ripe for the picking, both Senate seats from PA should be DEMS. Tag the idiotic VA legislature with those feeble Senators Allen and Warner, and we've got a shot at VA too.

The repubs did not come to power by "working with" Democrats. I hope Dr. Dean understands that fact.

5. It's Mostly Because

IMHO- There is no such thing as a "moderate" Republican. The power brokers of their party are not afraid to "smack" them down if they step out of line. That is why you will not see a "single" Republican Senator vote against any judicial nominee he puts forward.

Look I'd love to be able to rely on some Republicans to join with Democrats to defeat some of this admins "radical" agenda, but it will not happen.

Look at the prescription drug bill. They changed house rules and practically bribed members to get the votes they needed. Want to guess how many DEMS voted for it?? Now we find out that it is going to cost TWICE what we were told. Would they have had the votes if DEMS had stood united??

Look at John McCain. They practically accused him of being a communist Vietcong sympathizer, and yet, what did you see?? McCain out on the trail kissing A$$ so well that if the pResident stopped suddenly, McCain's head would have gone right up Bush' A$$.

They are not afraid to put to screws to their members to get the votes they need. Its' why they are so good at torture...they've had lots of practice.

I don't care how "moderate" you are. When they tell you that your money is going to be cut off, or that a million "pamphlets" are going to be passed out in the "fundy" churches in your state...well, if you have an R after your name, you better knuckle under.

6. It's not what you say, it's what you do, and what the so-called

moderate pukes have done is to vote with the wingnuts every time.

They have proven with their deeds -- and their complicit silence -- that they are quite comfortable with their party's stance on every issue.

No one held a gun to Jim Jeffords' head when he stepped away from that tainted pool. Chafee and Snowe and Collins and another other "moderate" puke could do the same and be welcomed with open arms. They haven't, because they prefer the camp of hate and bigotry and oppression and intolerance and war and misery.

I hope Dr. Dean, or someone on his staff, is reading these postings. The DNC does need to target these moderate pukes, let them know they are no longer "safe," by virtue of their rhetoric, from Dem challenge.

7. I can gain respect for Lieberman

if he comes out publically and says he will not be *'s new Zell Miller.

Lieberman would be vindicated in my eyes by doing that.

8. It would be a start anyway

Frankly around the Social Security fight, if he sticks with the right side he could do a lot to redeem himself. On the other hand he might do the same kind of mental calculation that Miller made and decide the other side has more to offer him. In which case, screw him.
