Hopefully someone with cable will tape it for me. I already had tix for "Machuca" and "Man Who Copied" at the Portland Intl. Film Fest. Glad I checked, too. I almost bought tix to see the debate without paying attention. Something that's easy to do, since I let my PDA get wet.

The guy was old and missed. I think it hit the podium and bounced back. He was promptly tackled and dragged away while screaming at perle. Perle took it in stride like he gets it all the time. Then he continued spewing his bullshit talking points.

That guy was pissed, as are a lot of intelligent people. I feel like throwing stuff at Republicans all the time. Dean disappointed me though. He didn't get angry and tear into Perle the way I wanted him to. He was very calm the whole time. I guess he was acting like a DNC chairman. oh well :shrug:

11. Bruce a Caller on Ed Schultz now saying he was the thrower

and took 3 shots at Perle. Threw both shoes, and then threw the rebound again. Bruce said his blood was boiling at Perle's arrogance and that his area has lost over 40 soldiers including a guy who's term was up but was stop-lossed.

I wuz there. Aside from the audience reaction to Perle, I'd say that my $30 was wasted money. Dean was pablum, IMO. Perle was on a rehabilitation tour, trying to be smooth as soft butter. The most noteworthy thing Dean said was when he pointed out Perle re-framing the question.

I hope Dean can summon up some yeaagghhh spirit, if he hopes to rally the Democratic party.
