If a refrigerator falls on you, you and/or your family can and should sue Home Depot - that would truly be negligence on their part. And hopefully, you own enough life and disability income insurance.

The Senate voted today 76-24 in favor of limiting class action lawsuits to federal courts - rather than state courts. The Home Depot example you cite would certainly not be a class action lawsuit nor is it affected by this legislation.

4. Tort reform makes sense
the problem is that is very unlikely the corps are going to past their savings onto consumers, it will just go for higher profits.

store. They have a couple of anything I'd ever need.
