1. I've got to find something better to do

This has been a refreshing place to hang. But to post a story with zero responses Is having a real negative effect. I spend time when I post I spend more time in reply to other posts. Maybe I haven't given it time enough. These soldier posts get an incredibly short response. I try to put the blame on myself, but I can see that these posts don't rate like the candidate flame wars. Posts on the environment rate even less of a response. It's a lonely thing to post with no reply. At least I can get a discussion on the conservative board (after wading through the insults).

So, goodbye DU. I'll look in from time to time, but n/t.

2. I found your post and think that everyone here agrees with you

100%. The problem is that the frustration level with this administration is so high that people are looking for things to do about it. There is a group of people who check in daily on LBN with the threads concerning our soldiers. Sometimes I think that if I see you more post entitled "1 US soldier killed in Iraq" I'll start screaming and never stop. It's awful, but people are just numb to the needless casualties and a war with no end. I hope you check in with us from time to time.
