10. I'm not sure but doesn't it sound really FRENCH!
</sarcasm>

Had to make light of the right's bizarre obsession with hating France.

12. "Goo-KAY"
You know, like Hyacinth Bucket's preferred pronunciation.

But it is a German name, so it is not rocket science to pronounce it. He is even full of shit on that small detail. And many of us routinely hear our surnames mispronounced without suffering professional or personal trauma. Hell, if he can't handle being German, what would he do if he were Polish? :-)

But isn't it interesting that James Guckert and "Jeff Gannon" have the same initials? What, so he could hang on to his monogrammed luggage?

But why keep the same initials? Don't, uh, spies tend to use the same initials, or keep some variation of their name, for whatever reason this is in aid of?

Why choose a pseudonym at all? Sylvia Poggioli and Chitra Ragavan and Wolf Blitzer all have done okay with theirs.... Comparing him to "Mark Twain" is a bit of a stretch, but then again, Brit Hume has quite an imagination to cover for wackos.

Finally -- whose name is on the dogtags "Bulldog" and "Gannon" wear? Presumably anyone can buy dogtags with whatever name they want on them; weird to think he'd wear his own name when "escorting" clients.

13. you have to sound it out phonetically...
2 syllables: first one like LYE as in LYE soap or like in LIE down,second one UHR like in "ur, ah, I"m not sure what to say". Put them together, and you HAVE it!

LIAR!

:evilgrin:
