The letter from Congress denying him the pass was address to Jim Guckert and the Saluation was "Dear Mr. Guckert".

13. Am I the only one concerned about the safety of the President?

The Flying Monkeys are poohpoohing the obvious -- that a filthy skank with a past that would raise flags at any employer doing a background check, pig that he was, was still a Bush Worshipper and would NEVER have thought to harm Bush.

BUT -- if they didn't look into his past, or someone waved him in and said he was okay and that the SS and FBI shouldn't worry about such a passionate "patriot -- gee, is it ROCKET SCIENCE to imagine, that if you were the kind of murderous creep who would contemplate attacking this president, that all you would have to do is pretend to be a militaristic ultra-patriot loyalist, and bide your time patiently until you had an opportunity to do something awful? History is filled with tales of such insidious traitors.

This is why I think it was someone in the WH who gave "Gannon" a green light. I BET, I KNOW, the Secret Service and FBI knew what this guy was doing for his day job, and I BET they recommended he be refused access to the president. And I bet the person in the WH pretended not to know, but gave him a green light anyway. Someone who had authority to override the recommendations of the SS. Hmm....

I can't see the FBI/SS giving a skank access to their precious charge. Not that it could be proven that "Gannon" had obvious tendencies to harm the president, but, ya know, these SS/FBI folk routinely err on the side of caution when it comes to the safety of the President. If you have a shaky background -- not necessarily criminal, but "iffy" -- they won't let you near the man.

I wonder what the next explanation they will offer will be. It's crazy. If Scotty was really innocent about this, do you think he'd be so cool about it? Why are they working so hard to come up with PLAUSIBLE explanations as to how a SKANK got to access the President, instead of being pissed off about it? This speaks volumes....

Isn't the silence of the right wing moral warriors about this telling? Why aren't they flipping out? They're either offering excuses for him, or are keeping silent.

Why? Because they know too how big this is. And they know it can bring down this Presidency, and they don't want to hurt Bush.

One of the ways to spot a liar is just sitting back and listening to the excuses they come up with, and how the "explanations" evolve when shown to have flaws. Gee, the Bushistas have an excuse and an "explanation" for EVERYTHING, everything they have messed up.

Gee, are we supposed to feel better that they are running the WH like the Keystone Kops?

Although the right has been silent about "Gannon" so far, I saw the first reaction so far -- a pundit who declared it was IMPOSSIBLE for "Jeff Gannon" to be a Conservative or a Republican, because of his moral turpitude. Huh? Sorry, freeps, but this guy is ONE OF YOU! Deal with it.
