1. We joint Costco in October
Not everything is cheaper there, but some deals are really good. We tore up our Sam's card and joined Costco because of their contributions to the Democratic Party and because they seem to treat their employees a bit better.

Hey, $19.49 for a big bottle of Sky Vodka is not that bad!

We buy our splenda, olive oil, pasta, canned veggies, and meat there. Some stuff we get cheaper some place else. We actually joined because we use lots of splenda as a substitute for sugar. We get 700 packs for a little over $12.

You'll love it!!!

3. they seem to have healthier food
more low fat stuff, a more small companies. lots of newman's/co-branded stuff. as good or better than sam's. and it is close to my home away from home- goose island brew pub. so i can eat, then not shop hungry. almost a free lunch.

what more could you want?

5. I love their European style cucumbers, too
those long ones. You don't have to peel them. Just cut them up in thin slices and drizzle with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and add salt and pepper.

They sell them in a pack of 3, but we usually go through them in a week.

7. Cucumbers?
Nothing to get excited about. Just about 12-14 inch cucumbers...without the waxy substance they smear on the regular cucumbers.

I am talking about cucumbers...salad...well...stuff that you eat...never mind... :spank:

It is late and some people just have the "wrong" ideas.

2. Been shopping at COSTCO for a couple of years..with a smile on my face.
Not only are they a blue company, but they treat their employees with respect.
