I post this not as part of the blogosphere feeding frenzy (well, okay, maybe a little), but rather so that we can carefully study his twitchy, blinking string of lies and denials. It’s just like Clinton, people – once they start lying, you have specifics to nail them on. I think he somehow went on this program actually thinking he would deflate this swelling cyst of torrid press starting to finally seap into the mainstream media.

Instead, Cooper's hilarious recounting of how preposterous this scandal sounds makes even Guckert's pseudo-journalistic Spidey Sense tingle at how bad this is going to get. In this deer-in-the-headlights reveal of Guckert, I am starting to believe that this swaggering, cocky prostitute has the unwitting combination to Karl Rove’s Vault of Slime.

7. I wish Cooper had seized on the fact that all of the dirt gathered on

him was PUBLIC and not private. No, your private life doesn't make a difference to me, but your very public protitution web site is important. Wait, your private life does matter when it makes you a big stinking hypocrite!

I couldn't care less that he's gay. I do care a bunch that he's a liar and has committed crimes for which others have gone to jail. (Taxes and prostitution) yet got to sit ten feet away from the Pres. Last I checked, there are a lot of ex-felons who can't vote, much less ask the president questions in person.

9. He's Too Smart For His Own Good

"Gannon"/Guckert still thinks he's some cause de celeb on in the right wing coven (and there are still those defending him, but the ranks are thining). I bet he thought he was going to trot on Cooper's show tonight, like he did with Leslie "Wolfman" Blitzer and either confuse the story or paint himself as a victim (he tried, Anderson was ready on that talking point...pinch me, this was on CNNServative!!)

The dude thinks he's got these guys covering his back and that people like Rushbo & Hannity and others will ride to his rescue as some "free speech" victim. If these people can ignore Rushbo's massive drug abuse and the dozens of other hypocrisies, what's one more? They've had the drill down for years.

Problem is "Jeffy's" radioactive now, and his performance tonight now makes him even more day-glo, as he spewed out even more lies that are sure to lead to more evidence which will lead to more questions which will keep this story cooking for a while longer.

Meanwhile, I think this dude is waiting for the "checkbook" journalists to come calling...which one will offer that $1,000,000 check for his "life story".
