As I've posted elsewhere, I think gagman (aka Gannon, Guckert, ??) pulled the 26 Jan 2005 $hrubber press conference stunt (and the eager communication with DU to become the #1 punk-neoCON shmuck or whatever that contest is called) because he may not have been ready to be a participant in one of those 'suicides.'

I think gagman's background (when we learn what it is, along with some hard facts about who he really is) may well be sufficiently experienced in the ways and means of scrubbing those who have become unwanted annoyances, that he may well have detected that it was time for him to become 'hyper public.'

And, heck, he's succeeding and maybe Howie is into the "he's not heavy, he's my brother" compassion thingie and is trying to help the dude not find himself hanging from a shower rod.

Think about it. The fact that gagman is still alive is already an amazing story, imho.
