On C-SPAN this morning - a college Rethug

Jason Mattera of Roger Williams College was a guest. I only caught the last 15 minutes, so maybe they covered this, but googling Jason brought up the fact that he and the College Repubs. (of which he's Pres.) started a "whites only scholarship" to protest scholarships aimed at minorities. Mattera has been criticized by fellow students for accepting a $5000 Sallie Mae Fund scholarship for Hispanic students. Mattera says "No matter what my ethnicity is I'm making a statement that scholarships should be based on need and merit." Wow, they learn young! It's not the ethnicity Jason, it's the hypocrisy.

Have you noticed how the Repukes are pandering so heavily to GenX or Y or whatever they are by calling them "the next Greatest Generation" and how they're selling the Social Security argument to them (you are going to have to take care of your lazy, stupid, drug addled me-monkey parents, and Grandma and Grandpa aren't going to leave you any money...).
