He was hired to do the "reporting" job and did it ably (to spec: assist the press secretary to deflect tough questioning by interjecting blatantly pro-administratin spun questions). He enjoyed doing the "reporting". He wanted to advance his new career. He had an in at the White House now, and had a way to get information from certain sources -- namely, (a) those he was able to have a sexual relationship with; and (b) just random information gleaned at various meetings and social events since he was now at least a peripheral player in the "in" crowd.

But he didn't quit his real job (male escort) until he was well established in his new career -- or did he ever quit?

So let's see here. We have a member of the elite White House Press Corps(e) who is engaged in illegal activity -- namely, prostitution -- even while participating in White House press briefings. We have his "news service" (Talon News) coming into existence several weeks *after* he started working as a White House correspondent. We have several of his x-rated sites still out there, and his escort sites -- the ones where he advertised his services for $200/hour or $1200/weekend, complete with customer testimonials -- were out there long enough for bloggers and other netizens to save the evidence. We have a guy using an alias at the White House for the last 2 years and "no one knows" until the mean ol' bloggers get onto him. We have him lobbing embarrasingly partisan softballs when called on by Scotty or the president. Finally, we now have him feeding breaking news items, scoops in fact, to at least one local newspaper.

We need to find out *where those scoops came from*. The Dems should demand an investigation. Remember: there are laws against propaganda. If it can be proven that the White House knowingly engaged in manipulation of the news, then they can be charged with criminal activity.

Oh and one more thing. We have the Black Ops aspect of all this. If JimJeff was actually in the military, he may have gotten into secret operations. Maybe he was good at it. Maybe he still is. This "hot military stud" thing is so, like, a bad movie plot. Maybe the escort service was a set-up of a different sort that he participated in, possibly to compromise his clients; and when the new operation started (his White House "reporter" stint), they neglected to clean up evidence of the previous one? Or they figured they didn't have to since no one would notice since his name was changed. ???
