Received a letter from the Denocratic National Headquarters today
It was asking me for money if I was appalled by the job * has done together with the repuke leadership of congress. It was signed by Nancy Pelosi. Here was my response:

Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee:

Have you heard of House Resolution 757? It was introduced by Henry Hyde which implied a direct connection between the war in Iraq and 9/11. It passed the house 406 to 16. The democratic minority leader, Nancy Pelosi voted Yes on this resolution, Zoe Lofgren voted no along with Barbara Lee and a few others, but most democrats voted for it.

In November, 2004, Congress passed a 388 billion package financing. The Senate voted 65-30 for the legislation while the House passed the bill 355-51. In the bill Republican leaders had cut crucial funding for education, health and the environment. It also made it easier for hospitals to refuse to provide abortions or abortion counseling, and contained massive pork. Most Democrats voted for it.

Senator Feinstein a Democrat from my state of California introduced the secretary of state nominee Rice as a wonderful person and nomination. It didn’t matter the lies that she told both to the 9/11 commission and Congress.

Senator Rockefeller a democrat from West Virginia could not be more thrilled that John Negroponte has been chosen as the first U.S. intelligence chief. John Negroponte deliberately falsified State Department human rights reports throughout his time in Honduras. U.S. missionaries and many people of faith and conscience were murdered by the CIA-trained Honduran Battalion 3-16, which Negroponte at best overlooked and at worst oversaw. I guess there wasn’t anyone more qualified than Negroponte?

Alberto Gonzales has now become the new attorney general, thanks to six democrats

Joe Lieberman is now undecided about private accounts, bringing to three the known number of senate democrats who have to yet publicly rule out the idea.

I disapprove of george w bush with a passion, but I BLAME THE DEMOCRATS MUCH MORE THAN GEORGE BUSH, AND HIS NEO-CONS.

When it counted, the democrats were NOT there when we needed them. Yes, there are a handful of Democrats who stand up for Democratic values, but most do not. Hopefully Howard Dean can correct that.

I have been a lifelong democrat, but no more. Until these so-called democrats who gave george bush everything he wanted on a silver platter for the last 5 years, are voted out, I do NOT BELONG TO A POLITCAL PARTY.

I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU WOULD CEASE TO SEND ME ANYMORE SOLICITATIONS. YOU HAVE HELPED DESTROY THE PARTY I LOVED

That is fantastic! You hit the nail on the head! You hit it out of the park! You pinned the tail on the donkey (literally!) Way to give 'em hell!

4. Pelosi is no fan of Dean for sure. Neither is Reid...
Dean has too high a profile for their taste. In the absence of real leadership from the House and Senate minority leaders, people will gravitate towards Dean. He excites and motivates people. He will finally give the minority a voice people will listen to! He will cast the mold for future Democratic candidates, take back the party from the special interests, and give it to the people!

3. Do you mind if I borrow your letter and use it as a template
I will change a few things but mostly it is exactly how I feel. Until I see some real backbone from the Democrats in congress and not just Dean who has no real authority I will withhold all my assistance to the lackeys. Start with the Felon Negroponte.(sp)

5. you can do anything you want with it
I do not believe the DNC or DLC understand how they have betrayed us.

They believe that the donations they received for the 2004 election was due to their efforts, when in reality it was a grass roots effort, and had very little to do with their machinary

7. Howard Dean
may be the best thing for the party right now. Most will see this as a fresh start for us, a chance for change, and will hopefully give us a chance next time around because of it.

8. i wrote one similar letter...but i added
a red penny and said they would not get another red cent from me until they acted upon my values as a democrat..

i nail polished pennies and have sent them every time i get stuff in the mail from the dems asking for money..and i get them almost every day..i wrote my letter and made 100 copies and i send back the envelope with the red penny in it!

i donated right around $50,000.00 for this past election to the dem party and kerry..so i am on their hit list for money...and i am not sending another red cent until the dems stand up for dem values! and human values!!

9. John Kerry has announced he will vote for the latest
war appropriation, too. As I've reiterated, the only difference between Dems and Reps is a question of style. Kerry complained that Bush was doing a lousy job occupying Iraq and that he could do better.

12. It made him
appear arrogant to many. He could do better, but the press only made it seem like an insult rather than the truth.
