Optionetics - Ownership Society Social Programming? |
|
I'm aghast - watching an infomercial about a stock trade lifestyle targeted at young teenagers and "walmartized" low income consumers. The script is targeted and highly manipulated - tons of buzzwords.
Does anyone know anything about this?

1. Yes. Overpriced information about how to trade stocks and options. |

I went to a free lecture once. Decided to get the $500 option book. Lots of promises on how to make money in the market. The people that held the free lecture (in their 20's but filthy rich) forgot to give us their number for the 800 order. I called. They asked me if I was talking about the $250 book. A light goes off in my head and I say "yes". First warning this is worthless. I got the book. I didn't understand a word of it. It had a money back guarantee if I could show them paper trades. Didn't understand any of it.
Bought a Wade Cook book a year later for around $12. Learned more in that book than the $250 one. Went to several of his lectures and finally learned about options. Went back to the $250 book and realized it had maybe $10 worth of information.
Avoid these people.
