But Mr. Bush also repeatedly worried that prominent evangelical Christians would not like his refusal "to kick gays." At the same time, he was wary of unnerving secular voters by meeting publicly with evangelical leaders. 1. Haha...this of course comes as no surprise to us.

But the fundies and freepers who don't have memories of more lasting duration than 30 minutes will forget that Bush only "became Mr. Christian" after Rove realized the right-wingnuts were taking over the GOP. Now Bush may now think he's the "hand of God", but he certainly didn't start out that way. Man, what a bunch of thugs and lairs. Nice to see that at least at one point, Bush wasn't as much of a blockhead on gays. Gee, makes you wonder, doesn't it...
