Do your part to make sure that the Gannon/Guckert story -- and, most importantly, the Bush administration's massive propaganda effort -- gets the media attention it deserves:

1) Sign up to receive Keith Olbermann's daily newsletter -- this will show the "big bosses" at MSNBC that Keith's got a big following among the "hoi polloi" out here who care about the truth (when everybody else was too chicken, Olbermann was giving a lot of airtime to the Gannon/Guckert story)

3. Lot's of people haven't even heard of this

The other night I was at a relative's house and they handed the remote to me after failing to find anything interesting to watch. I flipped around and stopped at Olberman's Countdown when they were talking about "Gannon". This was the first anyone had heard of it. I don't think they really got it because they had missed the beginning of it and didn't really know what was going on. And when I tried to explain it, they wanted to know things like why none of the other reporters had a problem with him if he didn't have any credentials etc so I don't think they really thought much of it.

How does that work? I've got a bunch of people that I e-mail petitions and other political things to, but what's this about "e-mail group leaders"? When they get your e-mails do they forward them on to their friends? You must reach tons of people that way...

i have had a national email froup for over 3 yrs now..i got names off aol internet message boards..like minded people..and i put together a huge list of people i send stuff to every day..i do research each night..and send them articles so they can forward onto groups in their area of the usa..i call it an information highway

i have people in my group from coast to coast..from north to south..and have had military and military wives..and mothers and fathers of military..my oldest person is 79
many of these people post on aol message boards to educate..and many run their own internet groups in their area of usa..

in fla i have the people in my area who have all the email lists from the campaign and election..i send them the links and info and they send out to all on the lists they have...

we had kerry come here many times ..and it was always last minute..so we had to split the email lists to get volunteers...and to get people to the events...so we have maintained our lists...so i send to the email group leaders..and they send the stuff out..and we have now a huge audience waiting each day for the "news"

we all know we get no news now..so we all boycott the tv so called news and the newspapers..and we have become our news..
realize we are smack into clear channel florida...we get no news...we get * fox clearchannel bullshit.

when i started this after 9/11 i was a flight attendant for one of the airlines involved i am now retired but within days of 9/11 i knew we the people were not getting the truth..i flew 33 yrs..its hard to b.s. me about much in the air..but a gag order was put on most airline people..at least it was with my airline..and i could not even turn the computer on..i was and am computer illiterate..but i knew i had to get the truth out there...i was angry that my airline and our government was lying to americans..so i turned on the computer one day and i started looking for americans on the internet who i felt wanted to know the truth..and i wanted to tell the truth...so i began collecting peoples email addresses...and as i did research i would send them info..unasked for i would just send it to them..i had some bumps in the road..i started a group who were astonished with info i was sending them...i did get infiltrated with a freeper who got me kicked off aol..but i reopened it the next day under a new name...but i learned to be more selective...

i now have the most incredible group of patriotic americans in my group..i am so proud of these people...they are incredible..when i ask them to email congress they stop what they are doing and they act immediately..they are all getting published all over the country in letters to editors..and they call in radio talk shows..many send info daily to malloy..and malloy calls out their names!!

another words..we have become our own media..and they are the media for their familes..and many are now going out speaking..we have evolved over 3 years..we give each other strength..and support..
i have people in tv, dnc people in calif..i have rich people and poor people..and everyone is the same...and everyon respects each other..that is my greatest demand to stay in the group is to respect each other..

anybody can do this..i started with 2 people now i send out to probably 300 people each night..and they send out to god knows how many!!
we could easily get to 3000 a night/day...and many work the aol message boards and msn message boards and post our articles

if you ever go to aol message boards you are sure to run into many of the people in my group!! ( they are the smart ones!!)
i had no confidence in doing the computer when i started this...i never did anything political...but the day i retired flying my wonderful supervisor in ny ( who lost her only nephew killed by her own airline in the wtc) she begged me to get the truth out there...my husband is in tv..so i can get to people that others might not be able to...and i promised her and i promised families of the 9/11 victims i would get the truth out there...but i had to be careful...i am still under homeland security rules...

but through the strength given me by my lost co-workers..and the incredible people in my internet groups...i ran for delegate to the dem convention..i had to run a campaign and i had to be elected..i was...now this from a woman who never ran for homeroom queen! and i beat out life long politicians..because i had the truth with me...and my co-woker angels on my shoulders...they were with me throughout..when i thought i couldnt do something..they were with me to give me the confidence that i could.

i now write a by monthly article for a local paper in a he said sahe said political page ..to tell the truth ..i never wrote anything in my life..but i kick the repug guys ass every time..and now have a huge following.

i am just a mom..of a grown son..and a retired flight attendant...but there is so much all of us can do...

i just have an agenda..and a mission..and that is to expose * and the lies of 9/11 for my co-workers..
and to take back my nation and make it a place when i leave this earth that is the great nation i grew up in for my son and your children and all our children..i feel its my only legacy.
we can all leave lots on money and homes..and all the glitz..but it means nothing if we leave our kids with a fascist nation..i will not stop until we get our country back..not in pieces but whole ..and a place we should be proud of..and of which today i feel not much but shame..
i have spent a lifetime traveling the world..i have always felt so proud to say i am american...

i no longer feel that pride...i am embarassed to go out of the country now and say i am american...

i will not stop until that is changed!
i hate what the people running this country have done to my beloved u.s.a...but i will not give up on her..it just means working harder..

its the apathy of americans that gets to me..the laziness and apathy!

these assholes that are running this country are not destroying this country near as much as we the people are with our own apathy and laziness.

is what i am doing alot of work..yes it is..but now with my wonderful group..when i go away and travel..they pick up where i used to do it all..now they do it all...we are one in what we fight for ..and thats the truth!

For two years Jeff Gannon cut an unobtrusive figure at White House press conferences. The shaven-headed, craggily handsome man worked for an obscure news agency called Talon News, known for its conservative sympathies. He was often the subject of jokes by colleagues on weightier news organisations.

No one is laughing now, because Gannon was far from being a harmless distraction. He was writing under a false name and working for a Republican front organisation. Suddenly, his 'softball' questions to White House officials looked less like eccentricities and more like plotting by an administration which has frequently displayed a dark mastery of the arts of press control.

When it emerged that Gannon was also linked to gay prostitution websites and might be a gay prostitute himself, the scandal as to how he was allowed daily access to the White House grew even murkier. The American media is now being forced to confront the possibility that Gannon, whose real name is James Guckert, was simply a Republican plant, used by officials, including President George W Bush, to ask easy questions in difficult press conferences. 'The idea of having a mole in the White House press corp is amazing, but that's what it looks like,' said Jack Lule, a journalism professor at Lehigh University.

"Gannongate" -Fake journalist, paid propaganda, and the decay of the 4th estate. I am absolutely shocked that this scandal has gotten so little attention. "Gannon" is obviously at the least a plant to smear at the White House's will, and quite possibly much, much, more. Its the active subversion of the 4th estate. When an administration controls ALL branches of government, and then undermines, fabricates, and deceives the citizenry through paid propaganda and outright lies, well, when is the word tyranny appropriate?

The security and prostitution aspects of Mr."Gannon" are equally as troubling. For an administration that claims the things it professes, it is in direct contradiction to its actions.

Can you imagine if this treason were a Democratic White House? The press and republicans would burn them at the stake.

Its amazing...astonishing! I have lost all faith in any of the major news outlets to tell the truth about anything. I guess I will have to get my news about America from the foreign press!

80. I have emailed a few of these stories to my email list.

One of my dad's thug friends seems VERY uncomfortable about this story. He's not arguing about it, he's not even seemingly touching it but he is acting VERY strange around me. This guy has been around forever and I have NEVER felt this strange around him.

His girlfriend has oil connections and he has some military connections from what I gather.

His reaction to this story alone has made me realize there is something to this story.

He has been EXTREMELY vocal about issues in the past and the only other time he had no response was when I emailed him a story about GWHB's connection to child prostitution.

Why does homosexual prostitute render him speechless along with pedophilia? I would think his Evangelical oil connected girlfriend would be all over the EVIL homosexual angle of both these stories trying to prove her self-appointed God was innocent as the day is long.
