Ok, I've been working on this for several hours, and it is working great on my main machine, but testing on a second machine indicates the music-to-image synchronization is off. I think I may be trying to do something for which my Flash skills are inadequately developed.
Please view the Flash movie at this link, and tell me if the music and images are matching up correctly. Watch it until you get a good view of Jeff's dick, which is about one minute into it, and then you can hit Back (unless you like the song).
http://www.udargo.com/burton/CreepIt seemed like a cool idea, but maybe I've bitten off more than I can chew. I'm not using timelines much, but mostly Actionscript and the setInterval function to synchronize. But I'm not sure I'm properly accounting for differences in machines and platforms. I just don't know enough about Flash, I guess.
If anybody has any suggestions on how to make this work, or wants to offer tutorial services, I'd be delighted. Or, if you're a Flash guru and want to take the idea and run with it, just let me know and maybe I can fill you in on where I was going and you can take over (Michelangelo's "Creation of Adam" was going to figure prominently in the later half).
Anyway, it should be obvious where the music and images were supposed to synch in the first minute, so I would appreciate any feedback on how well - or not - it is working. I know even the first minute should have more graphic action to make it work, but I'm not going to spend more time on it until I feel I can make the timing right.
Thanks.
