2. We need some journalists who don't care if grown-ups --
-- host or visit porn sites on the web and who care very much if fake reporters have hard pass access to government documents and (apparently) White House influence.

We need some journalists who will ask who in the Bush White House signed on to Gannon's pass.

Hold the sex bias, and make the responsible journalism angle a DOUBLE.

4. He wasn't who he said he was.
Who else is in the White House under a false identity? A Chinese spy? Who?

5. he should have asked Carol Lin
Edited on Sun Feb-20-05 06:59 PM by shadowknows69
how much school she had to go to to get a job at CNN and if it bothered her that Gannon took a 2-day course and has White House access. If John gets more air on MSM he should turn this question back on the press. It should be them that are outraged. A lot of people in the news business have paid dues that Gannon hasn't come close to. We need to ask a few war correspondents how they feel that a rank amatuer gets to kick it in the WH while they dodge bullets. Just for the record I also feel that it's VERY important for blogges to have some credentials like John's. The more people like him that are trained journalists, and don't fool yourselves folks it is a skill, that we can get on the networks defending blogging as a legitimate entity and indeed the future of news sources the stronger legs this story will have.

7. Dear CNN: SITES, not "site". PROSTITUTION, not just "porno".
"Is it really his fault"? Well, gee, whatever happened to "character"? Isn't that what right wingnuts were screaming all through the Clinton presidency??

Sheesh!
