I don't know if it is a double standard or a lack of standards
but can you imagine if Jimmy Jeff gay whore, Plame treason, 9-11 lies, WMD lies, Enron, etc. had happened with a Democrat in the White House? What would the media be covering 24X7 day after day?

2. I think it's worse than cowardice
although chickenshittedness undoubtedly plays a role.

It is a directed control of and use of the media for partisan political purposes.

as "A youthful indiscretion", since he probably hasn't been hustling much since the story broke and that's been weeks.
