Second estate: The Aristocracy
Third estate: The Commons
Fourth estate: The Press


The King is sometimes also called the First estate, and sometimes labor unions have been referred to as the Fifth estate, but that's far more recent.

Actually, we're in the Third estate -- the Commons.

I don't believe there is a fifth estate beyond a CBC program and an anarchist newspaper.

1st estate is the Clergy.
2nd estate is the Nobility.
3rd estate is the People.
