4. That's what really rich people hope you think...
...so that you don't ask for a little of that wealth at the top to flow down to the people who work for a living so that they can pay their bills and still be able to put their kids through good schools, enjoy life outside the workplace, and have a retirment that doesn't rob them of their dignity.

6. I go to a private school
and you can ask any one there and because I go there I have to be rich, but my family by no means is rich. My parents have put me in a place that will set me up for the future so I will have money and may not even have to work, but I know some kids who's parents make 7 figures and they are miserable, so there is something to say about living the right way. But to be "rich" money wise you just have to be smart. Some wealthy people work in very medial jobs because it makes them happy and they just put their money away and live on only what they need.

:hi:

Chris Rock has a new DVD out: Never Scared.

He explains it thusly: Shaquelle ONeal is rich. He makes millions playing basketball. However, the owner of the team and the guy who signs Shaq's check is wealthy.

Therein lies the difference :D

8. a subject close to my heart
I get paid handsomely but I have little social life. I actually like my profession a lot and I have no regrets about choosing my career path 25 years ago.

However, I am seriously considering dropping out, downsizing my life and spending more time walking, fishing, studying architecture and just contemplating how wonderful life can be if one does not have to rush around inviting cardiac arrest. The Protestant work ethic ruins a load of lives, especially when people swallow the myth that material acquisition is paramount...it isn't, not at all, not even remotely so. People live lives cluttered up with loads of "stuff" that they neither need nor use. Buying yet more "stuff" is bloody stupid, almost a mental disorder imo.

Wish I had the guts to say "fuck it", I'm out.
