I downloaded it but got too creeped out to install. Just downloading it made me feel skeevy. Of course, I lied on ALL info requested!

I was AMAZED that these guys can make video games to snare kids into the army but, people freak out over Joe Camel?

I remember video games being blamed for many incidents including the columbine shootings. Not NOW! It is a post 9/11 world. What the hell is wrong with this country?

I am really curios how sick and twisted (or just plain desperate)these folks have to be.

If anyone is willing, I'd love a couple of DUer reviews...

1. They have a lot of war games out now

I've noticed a lot. They also not long ago had a game called "JFK Reloaded" where you got to be Oswald and you got to try to shoot JFK. Each time you would hit his wife you'd lose points. Talk about sick. They also have one game out and from the ad on the commerical and some of the graphics in the game it reminds me of Iraq (fighting for freedom and whatnot). Then they have a new Vietnam game out. :shrug: Parents all the time get so upset about what their kids watch on tv, but what about video games? You never hear them getting upset about that. I also remember reading about this game. They tested it out at some convention in Texas and after kids played it they signed up for the military. :wtf:

Going to places where the WarGames were happening and talking with people participating.

3. They made a pretty big one called America's Army a few years ago

It's a multiplayer game and you go through basic training first and everything. People still play it.

4. Sounds pretty similar. As I understand it this one moves from basic

up through commanding combat missions.

I really want to view it to check out how much propoganda is enbedded in the graphics.

I just can't bring myself to "play test" it. I find it too unnerving.

6. They sucker these kids in.................

thinking that they're going to fly fighter jets, command tanks, fire missiles and such. The kids, most of them high school graduates at best, have a rude awakening coming when they're holding a rifle in some hot, dusty foreign land humping 50 pound packs and being shot at by "insurgents". Then they get blindsided again after they're wounded (if they're lucky) or get discharged, by the VA. It's been an Armed Services' ploy for decades; bait and switch.

If these kids knew the truth from the get-go, a great percentage of them would never enlist.
