Lest we forget. RIP to John Raitt, Bonnie's father
John Raitt also passed on yesterday. His daughter is totally commited to the anti-war movement and is a pretty good musician to boot. Mr. Raitt was talented in his own right, as he had Broadway hits with "Oklahoma" and others. It is unknown if Bonnie Raitt reads this website, but no matter, my thoughts and prayers are with her and her family on this sad day.

1. Unimportant correction

He was in road companies of Oklahoma!

Originated role of Billy Bigelow in Carousel (another Rogers and Hammerstein musical) on Broadway.
