Poll question: Clarkies, are you happy with Dean as DNC Chair?
Please vote only if you consider yourself a Clarkie.

My stats teacher would be proud of my Likert scale but my english teacher not too happy with my spelling.

2. And I would be even happier if Clark was worked in as one of the
main voices of the party, to counteract the drips in DC who keep getting most of the press (Lieberman, Clinton, etc.) I'm afraid their tendency toward "Bush-lite" opining may undercut Dean's efforts. If Clark could be given more of a national role, I'd be thrilled.

5. Didn't want to see him get the nomination...
But I'm very pleased to see him win the chairmanship. I think the very things that didn't really work for him as a president will work for him VERY effectively as DNC Chairman. He functions best as the leader of a movement built upon a strong grass-roots organizational effort, with a new twist of massive Web-based orgainizational and fund-raising roots. We've GOT to have those things working for us nowadays in the Party on the national level, or the Repubs will continue to "juke" us in the organizing category. With them--and him leading the charge by attacking Dub & Co. on every front--yes, on EVERY front--, we'll not only pull ahead; we'll be VERY well-positioned to out-hustle them next year.

Now if he'll just try and talk Gen. Clark into runinng for Gov. of Arkansas...:eyes:

:kick:

B-)

6. May he be so lucky as that.
Nothing will change but everything will revolve. Life is a door, a door that opens only thorough investigation.

9. Me too
I remember the food fights here between the Deanies and the Clarkies (I remain a Clarkie), but I couldn't be happier with Dean as the DNC chairman.
John
So us Dems get one right every 20 years or so, but what are you going to do? I mean, what the hell are you going to do?

11. The whole Dean/Clark "wars" were overblown..Basically a half dozen people
on each side who loved to flame each other ruined every thread. Most Dean supporters also respected Clark and most Clark supporters also respected Dean. As usual, the obnoxious few seemed to dominate the debate because they are very vocal and have agendas to push.

13. Clark is no shrinking violet
when it comes to being proud of having Democratic values - he was telling the other candidates they need to stand up and be counted. I bet he will like the way Dean does business.

14. I'm just neutral.
Most people I know won't remember who the chairman of either party is two years from now.

15. Yes, I'm very happy...couldn't be happier!!!! :) :) :) :) :)
I already voted for Dean 6 times and was very :( when he stepped down as Governor of the "Great State of Vermont!" I jumped on his bandwagon early on. But I worried deep down about his lack of military expertise.

When I found Clark...long before there was even talk about him running for pres...I just fell in love with him. :loveya: and nothing could tear me away from him. He's what America needs!

America need Dean now right where he is. He'll do a great job energizing out party. In fact he already has.

16. Well, the DNC called asking for money on 2/5 and I told them
to call back after the 12th. If Dean was chair, I'd donate. If not, then it would be clear that this party is not interested in representing me. I think Dean is just what "the doctor ordered" for this party (yes, pun obviously intended ;) ).
