Watergate Style Diversion In Progress
It should be pretty clear to anyone with half a brain, the "newly " released tapes of Bush are a simply diversion from the Gannon/Guckert affair. Some will call it "Rovian" but.. he was learning at the feet of the masters during the initial Watergate flap.....back when it was just a, "third rate beggarly. "

If memory serves, Martha Mitchell, --the AG's wife-- started some rhubarb which temporarily diverted attention away from what was really going on, giving the cover up a chance to develop.

Be assured, that's where we are now.

Write your local papers about this everyday !! We must not let the MSM bury this in trivia.

1. I have to disagree about Martha !
Martha started a rhubarb... on 5th avenue in NY in front of cameras... that brought the first significant media attention to Watergate, or rather to the Watergate *cover-up*.

Shortly thereafter she was whisked away and literally disappeared. ( OK not literally, but she was forced into some kind of "rehab" so she couldn't keep fingering Nixon, as she had done several times in the impromptu news conferences she had in front of her NYC apt. building.)

In those days, the press was actively *seeking-out* governmental malfeasance and they had literally staked out the bldg. where the Mitchells lived after John left Washington, just to get a shot at Martha as she went in and out. She rarely disappointed.

Now the media couldn't care less.

2. Martha Mitchell syndrome: you're telling the truth, but you're
diagnosed as insane because it couldn't POSSIBLY be true.
They named an unofficial syndrome after her!
