Bill Frist lies about Trauma Centers

On the evening news, Frist was shown claiming that frivolous lawsuits are the reason we may "lose our trauma centers."

My left nut.

When people don't have health insurance, where do they go for treatment? Emergency rooms! Why? Because they can't be turned away!

I add the emphasis because *'s cheerleaders always fall back on this in any discussion of public health care.

"But you can always go to an emergency room. They can't turn you away."

So do these people not have the two brain cells it takes to figure out that eventually, when fewer and fewer people have health insurance, more and more people will overwhelm the Emergency Rooms, compromising the finances and the level of care the hospitals are able to provide?

Repukes were never very good at math, were they?

they made for the use of emergency rooms is that they only have to stabilize the life threatening situation. They don't have to let the person into the hospital for treatment of an illness.

These are brutal times.

of his mouth instead of the other end. Mr. Kitty Killer Frist is one of my Repub senators and I think he stinks. Lamar Alexander is the other one and he is Frist's poodle. Just goes along to go along. Neither works for me.
