Freepers and the Evangelical religious right were USED by the Bush
regime to get into office, twice. Now with a lot of the truth finally coming out about this administration including the "Gannongate" these people are spitting mad but they will never admit that they were "used."
But they are mad as hell and will be some evil critters from here on out. To think how they smeared a real war hero (Kerry) while supporting and proclaiming Bush, and AWOL, lying, drunk, as their hero is really giving some of them fits. But wait. Bush hasn't finished kicking them in their butts yet. More is to come, including the draft which will suck up their sons and daughters like a vacuum cleaner.

1. In the meantime they're happier than pigs in shit to go after
enemies like Tinky Winky, Spongebob, and Shrek.

From heaven above, Jesus is smiling. No, no, wait...he's laughing his ass off.

3. If their God exists s/he is soooooo pissed
They ignored the New Testament completely. S/he is not giving them harps when they die. They will find themselves on the recieving end of pitchforks.

14. So This Is How It All Ends
You either get a harp or pitchfork? Now I ignore the New Testament...so I get a pitchfork, too? Great to know it's all been decided. </sarcasm off>

The only god that matters to these oxygen thieves are their little tin gods and the ones that say "in god we trust".

The Invisible Cloud Being strikes again...

2. They are still getting what they want...
http://www.theocracywatch.org/

"Once dismissed as a small regional movement, Christian conservatives have become a staple of politics nearly everywhere. Christian conservatives now hold a majority of seats in 36% of all Republican Party state committees (or 18 of 50 states), plus large minorities in 81% of the rest, double their strength from a decade before.

The terms "Christian Conservative" are misnomers. Many Christian leaders believe the theocratic right is an aberration of Christianity. And the movement is anything but conservative. One can see from the record budget deficit that the theocratic right cares nothing for fiscal discipline, a traditional conservative Republican value. In fact they seek radical change which appears to include bankrupting the federal government and shifting responsibility for welfare and education to the churches.

"We need to find ways to win the war" Karl Rove, President Bush's political director told a gathering of the Family Research Council in March, 2002. The Family Research Council is one of the most powerful lobbying organizations of the Religious Right today. Rove wasn't talking about the war on terrorism. He was talking about the war on secular society.

4. The Christian Right is not an aberration.
Read "The Mind of the Bible Believer."

6. Sure, but in the meantime, can you elaborate?
Frankly I'll be turning in soon, but you can't reply by telling us to read a whole BOOK and leaving it at that.

Please, what's your point? TIA.

5. I think you overestimate them.
These are people who operate on faith, not critical thought. They've been trained to it. They won't ever admit that the world is more than 6000 years old, or that Bush is not a righteous man.

Once they believe a thing, they will not be dissuaded from it, not matter how stupid it is, or how much contradictory evidence you put in front of them. They will proudly stick to what's obviously false. They think it's a virtue.

12. That is why
They may never get what they want. They can't think outside of the Bible or what a minister says. Once those are removed from a fundie, they can't think for themselves. Bible KJV is what they use. If everyone buys other translations, good ones, eventually KJV will have to be discontinued since no one wants it. Fundies would have to change or drink Kool-Aid. I live in a town within the Bible Belt and NIV is the most used. Anyone using KJV is IDed as a fundie. They still have influence but at least they'd be marginalized.

7. Yeah,
but they're being used by their own leaders too.

It's what they do.

So don't expect them to stop... or to come to their senses.

9. But do they care? They do not.
I understand my poor fundie enemies. As a homo, I have also been promised to by the Democrats, who on the federal level have done nothing for my folk. But I let them use me, because they are my best bet.

10. Says who?
What do you base this on? They are counting on being repaid through Supreme Court appointments. I don't believe they give a damn about Jeff Gannon.

13. crack whores, the lot of them

Abused and diseased, nowhere to go, the reality unbearable when grasped at all, no future without a massive amount of DTs and social pratfall. So they spend their time scheming for another high today and raving against the people who tell them to get real and off the junk.
