I actually think there is less of a terrorist threat on 9/11/03 thank other days of the year. 2 year anniversary? What element of surprise could come from that? Terrorists only operate according to their own schedule.

11. If they used airplanes to attack the US people would lose confidence in

the US government. Attacking the US on the same day in the same way is something that shows stupidity and incompetance of the US Government that we could fall for it twice.

I think Bin Laudin is planning something, but doing it in the same way on the same day would invite failure and defeat of the plan. I think they will be attacking us in a very inventive way that will hurt our economy in a major way. I believe they want to hurt us economically and make us feel insecure. That is where I would start to look for evidence of attack.

Sorry, now I've started posting, I'm on a roll. But I think it's partly because I really do believe we've went WAY off track on getting terrorists. We're in Iraq, we're spread thin. The "Homeland Defense"(I always hated that name, it sounds like Hitler's theme.) hasn't been funded or put into place. (How about USA Defense?) Not that I think we can ever protect ourselves. I love our freedoms too. We can't give up our right to move about freely, talk freely and live our life the way we want.

I think I better quit. I haven't had an outlet for awhile. I could go on and on and on.....

Fifty times as many Americans have died in traffic accidents in the last three years as have died from anything terrorism related, yet you don't see that getting hyped because it's simply not as "sexy". Hyping the anniversary without putting it in a proper context is a form of terrorism too, imho.

Bin Laden and co. have forever. They will do the next big one years from one (when there's a Dem in the White House). It will not be on 9/11 or the 4th of July or Christmas or Easter.

Why? Because our paranoia on anniversaries or Holidays is already a victory for them. If they're able to do it again it'll make another date become a Sept. 11th 9/11 - like March 26th 3/26 or June 5th 6/5 or November 17th 11/17 ...

It'll be in LA or Chicago or Paris, Texas or Johnstown, Pa or Hawthorne, NV ...

I live in the middle of this country. My husband and I have talked about this before. If I were a sickie, wanted to really put the "Fear of God" in this country, I would strike next where NO ONE expects it. Right in God's Country(barf). The people on the coast are expecting it and changing to counteract it. The people I live around continue to think "It could never happen to us". If I wanted to spiral everyone into a tizzy, I'd hit in Kansas, Iowa, etc. Not as many people, but more symbolic. We would know then that nowhere is safe. Not even in OZ.

I hate even posting this. It makes me queasy. Because I really believe that true terrorists prey on the mind and not the body count. That's just an extra.

But until everyone realizes that nowhere is safe, the governing body won't change their stance. We have to change the world by actions, not by military might.

Nevertheless, I'm staying away from restaurants, stores and shopping malls just in case. I think if they hit again it will be a synchronized attack on various soft targets throughout the united states. I think a more likely time will be the day after Thanksgiving.
