those aren't prescription drugs, you can get them in a health food/vitamin store.

They're wonderful for joint pain and arthritis - a natural alternative to prescription drugs.

3. Sorry, but "mis-prescribed drugs" suggests to me that somehow

...doctors or pharmacists may be at fault for prescribing the wrong medications. What is really happening is that the medical professionals as well as the public are being mis-lead and even criminally deceived into believing that certain new drugs are safe and effective when in fact the drug manufacturers know they are not!

4. It disgust me that doctors keep prescribing antibiotics

for every little damn cold somebody has. Colds are caused by VIRUSES and antibiotics kill BACTERIA. All they are doing is creating mutant strains of bacteria that are resistant to any medicine.

5. I don't have a medical degree, but when people are sick....

...whether from a virus or some other germs, the immune systems are compromised and bacterial infections are more likely to occur. So to avoid throat and sinus and ear infections and the like, doctors will prescribe antibiotics to help fight those potential infections. I don't have a problem with that. The best thing when we get sick of course is to take time off, rest, eat properly and let our bodies do the natural healing. That's where my homemade chicken soup comes in.

...is like dropping bombs on POTENTIAL enemies.

Both become self-fulfilling prophecies eventually; orders of magnitude greater than the original "potential" problem.

or they wouldn't be on the market.

Wolfe (see Democracynow.org) suggests people not use a drug for 7 years - because they aren't tested all that much. And now - even when they are - the drugs are allowed to be on the market even with deadly affects because of how much money the FDA gets from pharmaceutical companys.

My father - as a physician - often had to get people off whatever medications they were on because so many people would be on more than they needed - before he could start treating them.
