I know this sounds absurd but dam, who is representing the American people here if the Congress won't do anything? This is frustrating as hell! Even if it just got some publicity it might be worth it.

Just sue the federal government I suppose on the grounds they are not doing their jobs which we pay taxes for them to do. Especially when it's so clear this guy got special treatment and security was breached.

the answer to "can I sue?" is always yes. Yes, you can file a suit.

But this one would be thrown out of the courtroom before the ink was dry on the papers.

You have to have standing to sue - meaning you have to be individually harmed by the actions. I don't think you can demonstrate that you were. Also, I don't know of any requirements that the White House Press Room be anything other than a convenience provided by the White House. They could shut the whole thing down tomorrow if they wanted.

She's the one (among others) who have been harmed. Her professional career has been diminished because that rat bastard got a seat in the press room and she didn't. She should akaGuckert, GOPUSA, Eberle, Fleischer, McLellan, and maybe Rove.

Nobody wants to lose a case this visible, so you'd better get someone good. That's not cheap, even if a lot of the work is pro bono.
