What is Up With DU?

I don't know if it just me, but when I tried to go to DU earlier, I kept getting some kind of porn pop-up called "I want you" or something like that.

FYI-it also happened when I tried to go to Bartcop. Anyone else have the same thing happen, or is someone hacking and trying to screw with DU and other liberal sites?

I get pop-ups with DU, but none of that nature.

Try running Spybot and AdAware first.

you've picked up some spyware and have a hijacker on your PC. Run Ad Aware to get rid of the nuisance.

Time to save your files and reload your OS....or innoculate. I've found that reloading the OS is more reliable.

8. You can tell people

how bad it is to use IE until it runs out of your ass but it never seems to change. Just surf the internet and read in other forums and its the same thing every where you go. But some people still insist on using IE which is amazing.
And then complain about browser Hijacks,Drive-bys and popups and spyware.

Just a little self education on how to fight that garbage seems to be out of the question. There are many free programs that will stop most of the problems and they are very easy to use. If you are experiencing popups it is not part of a vast conspiracy against liberal sites it's spyware on Your machine.
I have recently seen a few posts about pop-unders in DU and Skinner said they have been a part of DU for 3 years although I have never seen one.
