i just found out why i am an atheist.

it seems i've been reading scripture with a carnal mind, which ultimately renders scripture ineffective. therefore, the radiant light of god's word has not in one iota reached my heart.

yes, the scales have not dropped from my eyes . . . seems all that reliance on reality was pretty much a waste of time.

so it seems i am a fool and deluded and not open minded and not diverse enough and and and and

of all books ever written, published, or sold, i guess the bible has certain magical properties that are activated upon development of a mind that is not carnal.

what i want to know is this: how do i truly determine the extent to which my mind is sufficiently godly for me to understand scripture?

what does christianity NOT think of. god would make a good used car salesman if you ask me.
