Where are the Senators Fulbright,Gruening, Morse,Ervin and Baker
of our generation? Is it our Karma to settle for the Newts, Liebermans,Frists,Millers?

And where are the new Jimmy Breslins,Mike Roykos and others of our generation?

What has happened to the kids that conducted protests on campus?

Is idealism dead in America?

1. And where is the DU of our generation?
What a second. Its right here!

The world changes and technology changes but the fight stays the same. A lot of people that are idealistic are fighting through the web nowadays.

Regarding the Fulbrights, Gruenings, Morses, etc, remember Barbra Boxer and Harry Reid. Thirty years from now, people may be wondering where are the Boxers, Reids to stand up fight.

2. This is early 1965, just wait. Things will hit the fan shortly.
Much of the establishment still believes the war can be won. There still aren't that many US casualties (tell that to the grieving families and the wounded veterans) to indicate otherwise. When the war escalates, so will the opposition.
