Rock the Vote printing protest thongs: "I heart Social Security"
No privatized parts

Rock the Vote is hitting below the belt in its battle against President Bush's push to privatize Social Security: It's printing protest thongs.

The group will emblazon the skimpy skivvies with the slogan "I Love Social Security." Trucker hats and so-called wifebeater T's will also bear the emblem.

"The proponents of privatization are targeting young people, and we're saying young people need to learn more before making their decision," Rock the Vote's Lindsey Berman told us. A White House spokesman said dryly, "We don't comment on undergarments."
