Gannon and company are trying to make it about his homosexuality. They make the primary charge one of being both conservative and gay. That isn't the issue. The concern is why this guy was there. If he was really writing for a newspaper, no matter how small or badly, there'd be no issue. But by all appearances, his activities had nothing to do with writing or reporting and everything to do with participating in propaganda. It is made all the worse by the extent to which this guy lied when finally exposed.
