19. That's why repukes are hyping up Reagan and ditching Lincoln.
Lincoln wasn't gay... but it is far more apropos for repukes to stand behind one of the biggest criminals or otherwise general vermin in American history.

7. Other than Lincoln?
Most Presidents were too much in love with themselves to be able to love someone else.

16. I believe James Buchanan was
He never married and lived with his lifelong male roommate.

I also don't believe Lincoln was (and I haven't read the book which makes that claim).

14. Eleanor Roosevelt, MAYBE.
It's not in doubt that she preferred to spend her time alone with "out" lesbians.....

It's only whether she actually functioned as 'Acting President' from time to time which remains a subject for debate.

And, oh yeah: Lincoln? Queer as a five-dollar bill!

22. We don't really know.

Although, it's entirely possible. And if there has been, fundies would just do weird mental gymnastics to ignore or displace the information. For the rest of us, I suppose that it is just more sociological/historical data, specialists having more interest in it than generalists or the wider public.

Another question would be, would Americans vote for an individual who is not heterosexual? One day, yes.

If we can keep our Republic, that is.
