Oh no, where's Mr Bill?

Senate majority leader Bill Frist, Republican of Tennessee (center), spoke at a Capitol Hill news conference yesterday on an amendment to ban gay marriage. 07/13/04

Funny, I haven't seen much of him or those 570,000 people who are so worried about gays ruining the institution of marriage?

I think I figured out why. They much rather go to prostitutes. It's cheaper than paying alimony.

1. You save marriage
by preventing others from getting married? You institute covenant marriages which are legally harder to get out of? And, of course, you obviously approve of gay prostitutes and sodomy between consenting conservatives. However, you don't deal with spousal abuse or incest (especially in red states) in bush supporting households. Are "christian" conservatives pathetic, or what? Oh No, its a liberal telling the truth about us, shout him down.

2. Somebody explain it to me.
Help, I don't understand.

What are those people going to do to SAVE my marriage or to harm it.

I think I have a pretty strong tie with my spouse. What can they do to protect or destroy that?

This is my second marriage. The first ended because my ex found a woman half his age to mess around with, then he fell in love with her. I am not sure I wanted it saved after the betrayal, but how could this petition have saved that marriage?

What about Las Vegas quicky weddings and quicky divorces? What can this petition do to save those marriages?

3. Maybe they are listening to some rumblings
There was an article at Salon today about how many Fundies take credit for Bush's second term and can't figure out why he's spending his political capital on social security when gay marriage is still a problem (in their minds).
