DU Needs a special forum for gatherings & Dem get-togethers.

That would be a great way for progressives to get together and actually see the faces of others who politically motivated. I live in San Antonio, Texas and it would be great if there was a regualar get together at a bar or restaurant to discuss action plans, politics, or just commiserate about the state of the party and nation in general. I would go and I bet there are many other that would too. This is a request to the DU moderators to create a place where events like this could be posted.

I personally believe that the place to advertise local events is in the state forum.
