Was Gamil al-Batouti a test run for the "suicide pilot"?
Gamil al-Batouti,

59, EgyptAir co-pilot, was suspected of interfering with the controls of EgyptAir 990 in Oct., plunging the Boeing 767 and its 217 passengers and crew members into waters off Massachusetts. Everyone on board died in the accident.

. . .

The plan needed to rely on four men to steer to their deaths without chickening out. Was the Batouti feat someone's quality assurance test of the psychology needed to commit 911?
