Hell, I don't visit this site to get mamby-pamby communal commiseration and discussion from like-minded people. I've got the REAL world full of that - open-minds, political free speech are at an all-time high in the USA and dissent is available everywhere, simply Everywhere you look. I sure as fuck don't come in here to learn anything new, or something that might clarify my thoughts or half-formed views on issues, or to see things from a different perspective. Why would a liberal want to hear other liberal's point of view dammit?!

I don't need blue collars, vegetarians, white Southerners, market investors, suburban-dwellers, SUV drivers, farmers, God-believers, military personnel, metaphysical philosophers, Artists, gun owners, non-college educated, feminists, the childless, cop defenders, Dean conspirators and smokers to tell me what they think!!!!!

but then I thought about it some more and realized that there's probably a couple of levels that we agree on, so I went back and policed my own language, but now I'm wondering if that's what you really meant to say, or if it's just a cry for help, so I had to rethink my whole response, because I'd never want to offend you if all you wanted was just for someone to agree with you, unless of course you need the disagreement as an affirmation of your existence, but then I realized that everyone who'd posted on this thread so far had over 1000+ posts, and so who the hell am I to either agree or disagree, you know?

He was here on business and we had to reach his wife in another state. She's having trouble getting a flight here. Thought it was appendicitis, may have ruled that out...I hate hospitals!

I reached his wife on her cell and told her she could stay at my home when she gets here. She thinks it's his gall bladder. ??

Whatever, the man is in the emergency ward and that alone means possible death. Here's to him getting out of there SOON!!!
