It's true. I think after a time there is outrage fatigue. Economy-wrecking tax cuts. Letting America get attacked by terrorists. Lying relentlessly to start a phony war. Trying to destroy Social Security.

I think Gannon is both a salacious diversion and a combined shot at both the media that made all of the above possible and the sanctimonious Republican cheat machine.

It's a natural: fake reporter amidst fake reportage.

...it ain't just him, it's favors, it's lack of security, it's propaganda, it's connections, it's Eberle, it's McClellan....

I think when Ari goes on the book tour, which he will, as his book comes out next month, he needs to be hammered HARD on WHY HE REALLY LEFT, what he knew about JimmyJeff, what was Scott's relationship to JimmyJeff AND the pretzeldunce...so many questions. And Ari can answer them, and he fucking well should. He left so friken fast you could see the cartoon whizz marks behind him--no one puts in their letter and is gone in a month, unless they are terminally ill or under indictment...to me, I sense that he WANTED TO BE GONE! He couldn't leave soon enough!

If there's anyone out there in the lamestream media reading DU for ideas, pick up on that one...push Ari, prod at Eberle...
