Bumper sticker I just saw...."I think...therefore I vote Republican"
Good thing I was stopped when I read it or I probably would have driven off the road laughing!

2. Who ever said Republicans don't have a sense of humor?
You should have asked..."is that stink or drink?"

4. They stole that from us -
classic bumpersticker for years was -

Vote Republican - It's Easier Than Thinking

Apparently, Republicans really can't think or they'd come up with something more original.

10. Another funny sidenote
I am new to the Saint Louis area and trying to meet people via online dating. One claimed to be an intellectual conservative. I about fell out of my seat.

12. These people actually think they're thinking...
...for themselves.

Neocons have become the counter-culture to the counter-culture -- with their gurus "rush"ing to the fore.

14. The first draft of that bumper sticker said "I'm greedy...
therefore I vote Republican." But, it just didn't have quite the right ring to it...

21. Is there room to insert "very little" btw "think" and "therefore"?
I saw one of those bumper stickers, too. It was on a Buick driven by a guy who looked kind of elderly.

People should take out their political views at least once a year or so, and dust them off and clean them up. Maybe repair and adjust them. I see lots of "republicans" who never, ever do this. I feel some slight pity for these people, b/c they are doomed to obsolescence.

If that guy would go back and evaluate his "republican" stance with the same sort of fervor that he might have had when he was 16 (and just becoming politically aware), he would probably find that his views no longer serve his needs. (Especially if he relies on a Social Security check to live!)
