Because if I could, I'd like the chance to ask Bush one thing...
"Mr. President, in light of your remarks to Russian President Putin with regards to a democracy, and how a democracy should stand up for it's minorities and most vulnerable...how is it then, that you continue to refuse to stand up for what is demonstrably the most disenfranchised, and most vulnerable group in our society, the GLBT population, who are routinely subjected to unfair bigotry, harrassment, and discrimination in the workforce, and thus denied an opportunity to earn a livelihood?"
And if I got a chance to ask a second question, it would be this:
"Mr. President, can you explain how it is that a so-called "compassionate" conservative would deny a disenfranchised and vulnerable minority the ability to earn a living...without fear of discrimination and harrassment - especially when most members of that group are READY, WILLING and ABLE to WORK to earn a living...and yet, so-called "compassionate" conservatives would also resent such a person receiving any form of government assistance?"
Of course, he'd have to get someone to translate my questions for him, since they contain words with more than two syllables in them!!
