Fox: "Schwarzenegger not sorry about past steroid use"

"Schwarzenegger: 'No Regrets' About Steroid Use"

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,148828,00.html

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (search), who has acknowledged using steroids during his years as a champion body builder, said he doesn't regret using the performance-enhancing drugs.

In an interview to be broadcast Sunday, Schwarzenegger told ABC's George Stephanopoulos (search), "I have no regrets about it, because at that time, it was something new that came on the market, and we went to the doctor and did it under doctors' supervision."

Schwarzenegger has acknowledged taking steroids, but pointed out that they were legal at the time.

"We were experimenting with it. It was a new thing. So you can't roll the clock back and say, 'Now I would change my mind on this,"' he said, according to an excerpt posted on abcnews.com.

2. Republicans NEVER admit to ever making a mistake or that they were ever
wrong about anything...Their motto, ALWAYS blame a democrat for your fuck-up! And repeat the lie over and over until the right-wing media picks it up and pounds it home as truth. It's all about money with these slimy republican fucks!

4. What does he have to apologize for?
It's not a big secret that body builders use steroids. It's impossible to get some of those bodies WITHOUT steroids.

Besides, if they want to screw up their health with massive steroid doses, more power to them.

But in cases of real sports, where betting, both legal and illegal are going on, it's a legitimate question whether an athlete is doping. Not only that, but people like to know that their heroes are just average guys who work really hard at a sport they love.

But body building? Everybody knew body builders used steroids and nobody really cared.

6. Why Would He
He knows that the Republican Party will support him even though he used the steriods so he will not apologize. I contend that his Mr. Olypmia titles should be taken away from him. The real question Stephanopoulos should have asked him is why he stopped the passage of an anti-steroid bill. People should know that Schwarzenegger's annual bobybuilding tournament is bankrolled by a steroid/muslce enhancer company. Some people think that there is steroid use at this tournament. It is one of those things that is not official but some people know about it. Officially the tournament against steroid use but there is no testing during the tournament; therefore, a bodybuilder could use steroids and not get caught. In addition, there have been calls to do steroid testing, but those requests have been turned down.

7. In this upside down world
what else would be expected of a phony body-building career,
a phony acting career and now a phony political career.
And to think one can solve a fiscal problem with a $15 billion
price tag by putting it on the credit card is the grandest
display of deception.
