Devil's Advocate...want to play?
Given all the...events(I'll be kind) that have happen the past few days.
The allience of Iran and Syria, Israel blaming Syria for the lastest bombing, Bush well being BUSH causing more trouble than anyone knows what to do. I thought we needed a thread to really sort though all of this. At least I do.

OKAY: 1st--John Paul being the last pope before the rise of the anti-christ: I have read about St.Malachy's pope vision thing and one thing I notice from a couple websites was the fact that some people believe St. Malachy did give some lead way between the last two popes.

Thoughts?

Everyone has been talking about the left behind series and the books of reverlation. (not really hear BUT in general) Okay here is the think what is Bush's family tree origins? Where did the great grandfather come from and all? Does he fit the bill for the antichrist or as I have heard some people mention he who announces the antichrist--I forget the actual title--so which is it?

I will be honest that I was of the belief that the book of Reverlations was written during the chaos of the very early times of the catholic church when Roman was still in power and well most people believe christians were a crazy bunch of people in a cult. When I read the book I honestly saw so much imagery that was in reference to Roman empire. Maybe I'm wrong but that's the way I viewed it.

Just some thoughts on a boring Saturday night

1. Doesn't "Glory of Olives" still come?
I thought John Paul II was 2 (not 1) Pope before the Anti-Christ..

According to Malachy, the next Pope is supposed to be "Glory of Olives", and after him, finally you have Peter II, who will be the Pope of Armageddon..

4. Yeah but what I was getting out of it was that the Antichrist was suppost
begin his rise at the end of the John Paul's time and that Glory Olive and Peter II would basically spilt the Armageddon time? From what I understood Peter was suppost to be their the last of the worse while Glory Olive saw the beginning and middle. Maybe I read it wrong but that is how I viewed it.

3. About the Pope.
My stepdaughter said something this morning about why don't they just let him die. True, he seems to be being kept alive at all costs and I wonder why as well. We also discussed the fact that the new Pope would be elected by the College of Cardinals, who were appointed by previous Popes. It sounds like our Supreme Court, doesn't it?

So it really makes you wonder what is the problem? Do they really believe in the anti-Christ too?

6. Well, Even if John Paul died tonight, by the time we got to Peter
we would have had many president's. Plenty of time to have Jeb and that nephew of George W (His name is George too) to get old enough to run. So although I think the whole family are spawns of the Devil, I think our best bet for an Anti-Christ would be this nephew who was the "darling" of that Black Tie and Boots Ball this past Dec. and who is set to go to Harvard in the Fall.

7. George P. Bush.
George Prescott Bush. According to this, he is able to run in 2012, though will probably not for some time after, as is the case with all previous presidents (no one wins in their 30s). I think this is who you are talking about, not sure.

I can imagine the campaign slogans... P. on America! (hehe, potty humor).
