Post WWII Paradigm has become obsolete.
If I am stating the obviouse, flame me. I just watched "The English Patient" and I realize that there is nothing remotely romantic about the current wars at hand. Where are we... where are we going. What will the current state of affairs create as far as imagination and creativity...nothing...cheap oil...and cheap Walmart goods. There will be no "great" story to tell.

When man has no imagination...we are truly dead.

1. No flame from me.
In history the story may say...The United States was corrupted by a power hungry idealogical regime. While they spent the wealth of a nation
they did not secure the oil reserves that they sought and required. And in the end they lost the prestige of the entire world and lost the Yankee ingenuity that could have led them to discover and implement the new sustainable technologies that other countries enjoy today.
