2. There's tons of stuff we agree on.
Just like 95% of what's done in Congress is by 'consent', the same goes here. It's the 5% we don't agree on that causes all the controversy.

12. Sorry -- not so sure he's an idiot . . .
I've heard reports that he's above-average bright.

But he sure as shit is a fool. And intellectually lazy and dishonest. And a jerk, and an arrogant dickwad. And mean. And vindictive.

And a liar.

A liar of the first order.

7. but then again, I guess agreement isn't what holds progressives
together, it is our own uniqueness and learning from others and non lock step, the furtherance of other ideas, different people, and that belief that holds us together.

I guess that's why i'm a democrat/liberal/progressive.

11. We agree far more than we disagree.
What tends to get posted here is 'squeaky wheel' stuff.

13. You guys are great!
I really enjoy being here.

When Kerry lost the election, I cried and cried. I couldn't believe what was happening.

The thought of another 4 years with this chump was more than I thought I could handle and you folks make it bearable.

You have made me feel like I'm not alone, that I'm not the only one who feels this way. We all have so many different ideas and thoughts and feelings that sometimes I wonder if we'll ever win again.

With that said though, I am coming to the realization that maybe it isn't our values that are different.

I believe we all pretty much have the same core values. How we get to those values is a different story for everyone and that is where the "apparent" differences idea surfaces.

Does that make sense?? I hope so.

Thanks everyone!
