7. Sometimes sarcasm is not warranted....
Especially when the topic concerns a force that can kill all life on earth...

9. I'm sorry to have to tell you,
but you do not write the sarcasm rules.

If you WERE in charge of the standards of sarcasm, you'd probably recognize a standard like "nothing to see here."

Maybe you can write the rules for the people who don't write the sarcasm rules.

11. Sorry my friend...
I just don't see sarcasm in nuclear fuel and bombs et al...

You are right - I do not write the sarcasm rules..

Please, please post your sarcasm as you see fit..

In the mean time, I will always point out what I think is not sarcasm especially when the topic is extremely contrary to human existence.

12. I don't think your getting this.
From Oxford:

sarcasm n. 1. A bitter or wounding expression of remark, a taunt, esp. one ironically worded.

It's not a matter of what you think sarcasm is. Sarcasm is sarcasm; it's a way of communicating.

You don't get to decide how people communicate.

13. No...I do get it...
You are correct - I do not dictate how people (should) communicate.

However, mature discussion in extremely important topics warrants precise position of one's ideals.

14. So, there's no sarcasm permitted when discussing...
...extremely important topics?

Is this a joke?

15. It would seem you are writing the jokes tonight..
I see nuclear bombs as NOT something to joke about...

You may want to re-think about what our conversation is all about...

I am totally against nuclear energy and nuclear bombs...

What is your position?

You might want to think about priorities...

and Putin about Iran. Wha' happened!!! * is such an inept doofus. Boy is egg on his face.

Message to bushco.. If you threaten other countries and call them out, then you procede to attack one of those countries, unprovoked, a lot of countries in the world are going to do whatever they can and whatever it takes to protect themselves from your stupidity.

8. Bush-Putin news conf.,

Bush:We talked a lot about the situation in Iran, about the situation in Iran.

"We agreed that Iran should not have a nuclear weapon. And I appreciate Vladimir's understanding on that issue."

"And that's an important part of having a trustworthy relationship, a relationship where, when a person tells you something, you know he means what he says, and, "yes" means yes, and "no" means no. Sometimes in politics yes means "maybe," and no means "if." This is the kind of fellow who, when he says, yes, he means, yes, and when he says, no, he means, no."

"Vladimir can speak for himself on this issue, but all I can tell you is, he said -- yes meant yes, when we talked about values that we share."
