If and when the Patriot Act expires: An expiration celebration

The expiration date is either October 31 or December 31. I forget, but it is possible that the plodding pinheads in Congress will not be able to stop pushing paper in time to renew the law. Many provisions have also been scruntinized by members of both parties over the last three years.

So, I propose that if we do make it to the eve of the expiration date we organize USA Patriot Act expiration celebrations around the country. 5..4..3..2..1

They are attaching riders in non-related bills that effectively renew the P.A.T.R.I.O.T. Act. And even more fascist goodness is included.

Not that they won't officially renew it sometimes soon, which they probably will.

I wish I could join some of you in your enthusiasm; but the (un)patriot act will not expire..
