PUTIN A MICHAEL MOORE DEMOCRAT?

Last week in his meetings with Vladimir Putin, George Bush explained to the Russian President that if his country were to be a democracy, he would have to observe the right to a free press. You see, Putin has been cracking down on the press in his country in a way that would make Stalin proud. So what was Putin's comeback?

He said that if there was such freedom of the press in the United States, then why did those reporters at CBS lose their jobs? Actually, no reporters at CBS have lost their jobs....just a producer and some news executives. Apparently Putin thought that George Bush had personally fired the people at CBS responsible for airing the forged National Guard documents. Sounds like something straight out of the Democratic Underground.

Perhaps Putin has been reading too many biased, mainstream media news stories. The other explanation is that Putin is just getting bad information from his aides. Whatever. Perhaps he's been watching 'Fahrenheit 9/11.'

about 15 years ago, i was acquainted with an attorney who knew him and said that boortz openly referred to his wife, who was either cajun or creole, from down in louisiana, as "a n-gg-er."

i can see why even the righties won't get too close to him.
